Bansko Ski Resort

Bansko is one of the best ski resorts in Eastern Europe. It is situated at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, around 2.5 hours drive from Sofia Airport.
Bansko has 18 ski runs, 6 for beginners, 10 for intermediate and 2 for advanced skiing. The highest peak reaches 2,600m.
The resort town of Bansko is located at around 900 meters altitude and except of excellent ski and snowboard facilities, it provides as well a unique history and architecture in the old and new part of the town.
Bankso is hosting the FIS World Cup through 2021 and won the title for the best ski resort in Bulgaria at the World Ski Awards in 2019.
